The QHSE Association is an independent, non-profit Accreditation Body and professional network dedicated to advancing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) practices worldwide. What We Do
We operate across two distinct but complementary pillars, maintaining strict boundaries to ensure absolute impartiality in our accreditation decisions:
1. Global Accreditation & Oversight
We “audit the auditors.” We provide critical oversight to conformity assessment bodies across all ISO standards:
Accreditation of Certification Bodies (ISO/IEC 17021): We assess and accredit Management System Certification Bodies, granting them the authority to issue certificates for the full range of global standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 22000, ISO 13485, and beyond).
Accreditation of Personnel Certification Bodies (ISO/IEC 17024): We evaluate organizations that certify the competence of individuals, ensuring that safety officers, lead auditors, and quality professionals meet strict, globally harmonized criteria.
Accreditation of Inspection Bodies (ISO/IEC 17020): We provide accreditation to agencies conducting critical workplace, environmental, and equipment safety inspections to ensure their methodologies are sound and unbiased.
Public Verification & Trust Registry: We maintain a transparent, searchable database of all QHSE Association-accredited bodies, allowing global industries to verify legitimate accreditations and combat fraudulent claims.
